It is official that Sholey Joy is ours! Yesterday, Monday, April 30th we received the best news...we received our "LOA" (letter of acceptance), which gives us all rights to share her photos and anything else we chose to share about her. I will share that her cleft lip has been repaired, but her palate has not. We will have that done once we get home and adjusted. Today, May 1st we received our overnight UPS package from China/Bethany Christian Services with our Post Referral Travel Packet. We now apply for our travel visas, along with completing our I-800 documents to the USCIS and then we can bring Sholey Joy home.
I still have more work to do and I will share more about Sholey later. Continue to pray for her and for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts~
What wonderful news!! That is one special little girl. I can't imagine how much of a blessing it will be for all of you to finally bring her home. Praying everything else will go smoothly. Can't wait to see more pictures.
ReplyDeleteUmm, I guess I do have your blog on my page! HAHAHA I'm so glad I do! Hey, I forgot to ask if you've gotten any other pics of her??? I wonder if she will have hair when you get her???? HAHAHA! Anyway, it was AMAZING to see you at the wedding. We HAVE to get together when you get back bc we live TOOO close not to! Can't wait til you know better travel dates. Man, it would be cool if I could go with you!! !:) Keep me posted and I'm glad I DO have your blog!!! :)
